About Trix
Trix (also written Trex) is the kingdom card game loved across Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine. Each player in turn owns a kingdom and chooses the order of five contracts: King of Hearts, Queens, Diamonds, Ltoosh (tricks) and the Trix layout game. Four of the contracts are about avoiding penalty cards, and the last one is a race to empty your hand.
Dodge the King of Hearts (−75), the queens (−25 each), the diamonds (−10 each) and every trick in Ltoosh (−15 each), then build the suits up and down from the jacks in Trix for +200, +150, +100 or +50. Reveal the King of Hearts or a queen to double it, and play one quick kingdom, a full game of four kingdoms, or a partnership game with Sami against smart computer players.
How to play
- In your kingdom, choose one of the contracts you have not played yet.
- In the four trick contracts, follow suit and avoid taking penalty cards. In King of Hearts you cannot lead hearts until you hold only hearts.
- In King of Hearts and Queens you may reveal those cards to double them.
- In Trix, start a suit with its jack and build up to the ace and down to the two. No card to play? You pass. The highest total wins.

Tips to score higher
- In your own kingdom, play Trix early when your hand holds several jacks; play the trick contracts when your hand is full of low cards.
- In King of Hearts, get rid of your high hearts as soon as you can follow hearts safely, and empty a short suit so you can discard the king.
- Reveal the King of Hearts or a queen only when you are sure nobody can force it out of you.
- In Trix, hold back the cards that open long runs for your rivals and play the ones that only help you.

How many contracts are in a Trix kingdom?
Five: King of Hearts, Queens, Diamonds, Ltoosh (tricks) and Trix. Each one is played once per kingdom.
Can I play Trix with a partner?
Yes. Partners mode puts you and Sami against Nour and Karim, and your scores are added together.
