What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a website keep data on your device. Both can be read back later, and both can be deleted by you at any time.

Strictly necessary data in local storage is required for the games to remember your progress. Analytics cookies are used only for aggregate statistics; we do not use them to identify you or to track you across other websites.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use PlayNovarc. It reports figures such as the number of visits, the pages and games opened, visit length, device type and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies for this site, or by using your browser's tracking-protection settings. Blocking analytics does not affect the games.
Third-party advertising cookies
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on PlayNovarc. Google's advertising cookies enable it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
How to control cookies and local storage
- Browser settings: every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data. Look under Privacy or Site settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge.
- On PlayNovarc: use "Reset progress" in your profile panel to erase the game data stored on your device.
- Consent choices: where a consent message is shown, you can reopen it to change your decision.
Blocking advertising cookies will not stop the games from working. Clearing local storage will reset your scores, medals and settings.
