Free skill tests and fun random tools
Alongside our games, PlayNovarc has a growing set of small tools that are useful, quick and a lot of fun. The skill tests measure something real about you: how fast and accurately you type in English or Arabic, how many times you can click in a second and how quickly you react when the screen changes. Each one saves your personal best in your browser, so you can come back tomorrow and try to beat it.
The random tools help you make fair decisions in seconds. Spin a wheel of names for a giveaway, pick a student to answer a question, roll dice for a board game, flip a coin to settle an argument or draw random numbers for a quiz. Every random result comes from your browser's cryptographic random number generator, so nobody, including us, can predict or influence it.
Built for phones, classrooms and big screens
Every tool works on phones, tablets and computers with touch, mouse or keyboard. The typing test reads your phone's own keyboard, and the wheel of names has a full-screen mode for projectors and interactive whiteboards. Your lists and records stay on your device and are never uploaded, and nothing needs an account.
Frequently asked questions
Are the tools free?
Yes. Every skill test and random tool on PlayNovarc is free, with no sign-up and no download.
How are random results generated?
With the Web Crypto API built into your browser, which produces unpredictable numbers suitable for security. Results are drawn on your device and never decided by a server.
Do the tools work in Arabic?
Yes. Every page is available in Arabic and English, the typing test has a full Arabic mode and the wheel and name picker handle Arabic names.
Is my data stored?
Only in your own browser. Best scores, name lists and settings are saved locally so they are there next time, and you can clear them at any time.
