About Spot the Difference
Spot the Difference is the classic observation game with a twist: every picture is painted fresh, so you will never see the same scene twice. Two village landscapes with houses, trees, balloons, birds and flowers appear one above the other. They look identical, but a few things have changed: a roof turned red, a balloon vanished, a tree grew bigger.
Tap a difference in either picture to circle it. Find them all before the timer runs out to earn a speed bonus, but be careful, because random tapping costs points. Each game has three rounds: easy rounds hide five bold changes, classic rounds six, and hard rounds eight subtle ones on the smallest details.
How to play
- Compare the two pictures and tap anything that changed.
- Found differences are circled in green on both pictures.
- Wrong taps cost 10 points; a hint costs 40.
- Find them all quickly for a time bonus. Three rounds per game.
About Spot the Difference
Spot the Difference trains careful observation, a skill researchers link to attention and visual memory. Because every picture is generated, no two games ever share the same answers.
Tips to score higher
- Scan in a pattern: left to right, top to bottom.
- Check colours first, then sizes, then missing objects.
- Compare one object at a time between the two pictures.
- Avoid random tapping: wrong taps cost points.
