About Jigsaw Puzzle
Jigsaw Puzzle brings the calm joy of a real jigsaw to your browser. Every game paints a brand-new scene, a mountain sunset, a city at night, a sailing boat at sea, planets in deep space, a desert oasis or a forest lake, and cuts it into genuine interlocking pieces with knobs and holes. Drag the pieces onto the board; when a piece is close to its home it clicks into place.
Start with the edges and corners, group pieces by colour and use the faint guide picture if you like. Choose 12 pieces for a quick break, 24 for a relaxing session or 48 for a proper challenge without the guide. The faster you finish, the higher your score.
How to play
- Drag a piece onto the board. It snaps into place when it is close to its spot.
- Placed pieces lock and cannot be moved again.
- Use Guide to show or hide the faint picture, and Tidy pieces to line up the rest.
- Finish faster for a higher score.
About Jigsaw Puzzle
The first jigsaw puzzles were maps glued to wood and cut along country borders by John Spilsbury in the 1760s. Our pieces have real knobs and holes, cut from a scene painted fresh every time you play.
Tips to score higher
- Find the four corners first, then build the frame.
- Sort pieces by colour: sky, ground and details.
- Use Tidy pieces to line up the remaining pieces.
- Turn the guide off for an extra challenge.
