About Pipe Link

Pipe Link is a satisfying plumbing puzzle. The pump in the middle of the board is ready to send water, but every pipe tile around it has been twisted the wrong way. Tap a tile to turn it a quarter turn. As soon as a pipe joins the network the water flows into it and it glows blue, so you can always see how far the water reaches.

The puzzle is solved when every house has water and no pipe end is left open. Each board is generated fresh, so there is always exactly one network to rebuild, and the fewer turns and seconds you need, the higher your score. Start with the friendly 5×5 board, then move on to 7×7 and the large 9×9 challenge.

How to play

  1. Tap a tile to rotate it clockwise. Right-click rotates it the other way.
  2. Water starts at the yellow pump; connected pipes turn blue.
  3. Tip: corner and edge tiles have fewer possible positions, so start there.
  4. Solve it in fewer turns and less time for a higher score.

About Pipe Link

Pipe Link is a rotation puzzle in the family of classic network games: every tile already holds the right pipe, it is only turned the wrong way. The water glows as it flows, so you always see your progress.

Tips to score higher

  • Start with corners and edges: pipes there can only point inwards.
  • Houses are dead ends; their single pipe must face a neighbour.
  • A straight pipe has only two different positions.
  • Use right-click to turn backwards and save moves.

Pipe Link FAQ

Is there only one solution?

How is the score calculated?
