About Neon Tiles

Neon Tiles is a rhythm-reflex game where every tap plays a note. Glowing tiles slide down four lanes and you must tap each one from the bottom up, never touching the empty space. Get it right and a famous public-domain melody, such as Beethoven's Ode to Joy, Für Elise or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, comes to life under your fingers.

In endless mode the tiles keep speeding up until you slip; in sprint mode you race to play fifty tiles as fast as you can; and in zen mode you tap as many tiles as possible in thirty seconds. On a computer you can play with D, F, J and K like a real keyboard.

How to play

  1. Tap the lowest glowing tile (start with the one marked START).
  2. Tapping an empty lane or letting a tile slip past ends the game.
  3. Every tile plays the next note of the melody.
  4. Keyboard: D F J K (or 1–4, or the arrow keys).

About Neon Tiles

Neon Tiles is a rhythm game in the spirit of the piano-tile games that topped mobile charts. Each tile you tap plays the next note of a public-domain melody, so good play literally sounds good.

Tips to score higher

  • Watch the next tile, not the one under your finger.
  • Use two thumbs on a phone, or D F J K on a keyboard.
  • Find a rhythm and keep it as the speed rises.
  • In Sprint, accuracy beats speed: one miss ends the run.
