About Brick Breaker
Brick Breaker is a fast arcade game in the spirit of the classics. Move your paddle, bounce the ball and destroy every brick to clear the stage. Silver bricks need two hits, and the ball speeds up as the wall comes down.
Catch falling power-ups to widen your paddle, split the ball into three, slow time or turn the ball into a fireball that tears straight through bricks. Play five hand-made levels in Classic, survive on one life in Hardcore, or hold back a descending wall in Endless.
How to play
- Move the paddle with your mouse, finger or the arrow keys.
- Tap or press Space to launch the ball.
- Where the ball hits the paddle decides its angle. Use the edges to aim.
- Power-ups: W wide paddle, M multi-ball, S slow ball, F fireball, ♥ extra life.
About Brick Breaker
Brick Breaker follows the idea of Atari's 1976 arcade hit Breakout: bounce a ball off your paddle and clear a wall of bricks. Our version adds five levels, power-ups and an endless mode where the wall keeps moving down.
Tips to score higher
- Aim with the paddle edges: the further from the centre the ball lands, the sharper its angle.
- Open a tunnel at one side of the wall. A ball that gets behind the bricks clears dozens of them on its own.
- Catch the Wide (W) and Slow (S) power-ups first when the ball speeds up.
- With Multi-ball (M), follow the lowest ball, not the newest one.
- Never chase a falling power-up if it means missing the ball.
