About Alien Invasion
Alien Invasion is a tribute to the most famous shooter of all. Rows of aliens march side to side and step closer every time they reach the edge, speeding up as their numbers fall. Shoot them down before they land, and hide behind the shields when the bombs start dropping.
Shields crumble piece by piece, so use them wisely. A mystery ship crosses the top of the screen for up to 300 bonus points. Play Classic with three cannons, Hardcore with one, or Rapid Fire with three shots on screen at once.
How to play
- Move with ← → or drag. Fire with Space, ↑ or a tap.
- Top row 30 points, middle rows 20, bottom rows 10.
- If the aliens reach the ground, the invasion wins.

Alien Invasion follows the 1978 arcade classic that started the shoot-'em-up genre: waves of aliens march side to side and drop lower each time they reach the edge.
Tips to score higher
- Clear the side columns first; the formation then takes longer to reach the edge and drop.
- Shoot the top-row aliens when you can; they are worth 30 points.
- Hide under cover between shots, but remember it wears away.
- The last aliens move fastest; aim slightly ahead of them.
