About Color Collapse
Color Collapse is a classic tile-clearing puzzle in the style of the well-known SameGame. The board is packed with coloured blocks. Tap any group of two or more touching blocks of the same colour to remove it; the blocks above fall down to fill the gap and empty columns slide together. The secret is that a group of n blocks is worth n × (n − 1) points, so one group of twenty is worth far more than ten pairs.
So be patient: remove small groups that are in the way so that big areas of one colour join up, then pop them in one go. Clear the whole board for a 1000-point bonus, but every block left at the end costs ten points. Choose relaxed with three colours, classic with four, or hard with five.
How to play
- Tap a group of two or more same-coloured blocks to remove it.
- Blocks fall down and empty columns close up to the left.
- A group of n blocks scores n × (n − 1). Hover to preview the points.
- The game ends when no groups remain. Clearing everything gives +1000.
About Color Collapse
Color Collapse follows SameGame, created by Kuniaki Moribe in 1985. Because a group of n blocks scores n × (n − 1), the real skill is resisting small groups and letting big ones grow.
Tips to score higher
- Pick one colour to collect and remove the others around it.
- Work from the top so blocks fall into bigger groups.
- Leave single blocks of a colour for the end, when columns close up.
- Hover over a group to see its value before you tap.
