About Archery
Archery puts you on an outdoor range in front of a regulation ten-ring target. Hold to draw the bow, wait for your aim to settle, and release before your arms start to shake. Arrows take real time to fly, an under-drawn bow drops short, and the wind carries your shot sideways, so every arrow is a small calculation.
Shoot five ends of three arrows from 30 to 70 metres, take on the Olympic distance in gusty wind, or try to hit a sliding target by leading your shot. A zoomed view of the target face shows every arrow of the end.
How to play
- Press and hold to draw; move to aim.
- The reticle turns green when you are steady; release then.
- Watch the flag and aim into the wind. Inner gold scores 10.
About Archery
Archery uses the target faces of the Olympic sport: ten rings, with the inner gold worth 10 points. Draw, steady your aim and allow for the wind before you release.
Tips to score higher
- Release only when the reticle turns green; a shaking aim scatters arrows.
- Read the flag: aim slightly into the wind, more at longer distances.
- Do not hold the draw too long; steadiness drops over time.
- With the moving target, lead it: aim where it will be, not where it is.
