About 8-Ball Pool

8-Ball Pool brings a full-size table with real ball-to-ball and cushion physics. A ghost ball shows exactly where the cue ball will make contact and which way the object ball will travel, so you can line up cuts, banks and break shots like a pro.

Standard 8-ball rules apply: claim solids or stripes, clear your group, then call the 8. Scratches and wrong first contacts are fouls. Play the computer, a friend on one screen, or Clear the Table to pot all fifteen balls in as few shots as possible.

How to play

  1. Tap or drag on the table to aim the cue.
  2. Pull the power bar on the right down and release to shoot.
  3. After a scratch you get ball in hand: drag the cue ball where you want it.

About 8-Ball Pool

8-Ball Pool is played with fifteen object balls and the white cue ball. One player takes solids (1 to 7), the other stripes (9 to 15), and the winner is the first to pot their group and then the black 8-ball.

Tips to score higher

  • Think about where the cue ball will stop, not just the shot you are playing.
  • Soft shots give you more control and keep the cue ball near the centre.
  • Clear balls near the cushions early; they get harder to pot later.
  • Never pot the 8-ball early: it loses the game.
